To Mark and Family: I am so sorry you are going through all of this. Mark, I too, grew up with you. It is incredulous to me that you became involved in this type of stuff and have lost so much. It does go to show how powerful this horrible drug is. However, I am also a parent. Aside from what you have done to yourself, and the stress/agony you have caused your loved ones, how many young, innocent lives were you responsible for getting started on this drug? How many other "good" kids (just like you) are following in your footsteps based on your urging or sale or one time "just try it"? Mark, I don't think of you as "Scum", however, I do think that having watched this play out, you are a danger to our children and our society as a whole. I sincerely hope the Judge in this case takes not only the crime, but the potential damage you have already caused and the risk you pose to relapse, thus gaining access to cause more damage to our children, when you are sentenced. Painful as it might be to say, this drug obviously warrants a long period of timne to be rehabilitated, in itself. The other part of that sentence should be for damage you did or could have caused to others.

I grew up with Mark,he is not a bad guy.He just took a wrong turn somewhere and for you people to say take the scum off the street your wrong to be calling Mark scum!!! He comes from a upstanding family, it just shows how powerful this drug is (you do it once and your hooked).. I know how Mark got hooked ,he worked on a large farm that worked many hours for many days and he need to stay awake, someone told him to try Meth and he was hooked. I know that this is no excuse, but before you go bad mouthing someone GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!!!! Mark will pull threw this because he has a great family to support him, and to cindylouwho & big daddy you think weed is any more legal than Meth??? think again

Please don't be so quick to judge someone that you do not know, many comments are random. Mark has family to help him through this, just remember you too may have family you will need to help. Would you be so eager to see comments about them! Alice

To Mark : It is a sad travesty watching your drug addiction drag you down to the pit of hell. Look at what you've lost so far. We can only pray that your impending incarceration will get you clean enough for you to understand the damage you're doing to yourself and others.
