Two fires leave Syracuse residents displaced

SYRACUSE (WSYR-TV) - Two overnight fires within the city of Syracuse left a number of people displaced Sunday morning.

Two children and one adult needed medical care as a result of the fire in the 800 block of Spring Street. No word on their condition.

The fire started at about 3 a.m.

Earlier Sunday morning, five adults and two children were displaced from their home in the 200 block of West Colvin Street.

That fire began around 1:30 a.m.

Both fires are under investigation and the American Red Cross is assisting everyone who was affected.
