SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police say two men were shot during a robbery on Sedgwick Street early Sunday morning.
When police arrived around 3:30 a.m., they found a 23-year old man with a gunshot wound to the arm.
The victim told police that two black male suspects forced their way into the home and robbed and shot him, before running away.
Around 6:00 a.m., a second victim showed up at Upstate Hospital with a gunshot wound. The 24-year old man told police he ran away from the scene before police arrived, because he had an outstanding arrest warrant.
Both victims are expected to survive.
Police believe the home was targeted and not randomly selected by the suspects.
Investigators tell us this incident does not appear to be related to a homicide that happened an hour later on Highland Street.
