SENNETT, NY (WSYR-TV) - Two people are in the hospital after a crash in the Cayuga County town of Sennett early Sunday morning.

The Sheriff's Office said 30-year-old Stephanie Menser of Dryden was driving a pick-up truck on Chestnut Ridge Road when she lost control on a curve and hit a tree.

This happened just after 12:30 a.m. between Gates Road and Franklin Street Road.

Menser was flown by the Onondaga County Air-1 helicopter to Upstate University Hospital.

A passenger in the truck, 38-year-old Robert Stilwell of Sennett, was taken to the same hospital by ambulance.

Their conditions are not known but they are still in the hospital.

No other vehicles were involved.  The investigation is ongoing.
