Two teens charged with animal cruelty based on YouTube video
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - A YouTube video has landed two teens in serious trouble. Solvay police say both face animal cruelty charges.
In the YouTube video, they're seen using a hair dryer on a cat with its legs bound. They also shave the animal with an electric razor.
Charged are 18-year-old Eric Estrada, and 16-year-old Kevin Revette. Both are charged with cruelty to animals, which is punishable by up to one year in jail.
The SPCA has the cat tonight and says the animal should be okay.
