UPDATE: High-speed chase in Oswego County ends in one-car crash

Mexico (WSYR-TV) - Sheriff's Deputies say a man took them on a chase through several towns, hitting three other cars, and reaching speeds of more than 100 miles per hour on Saturday morning.

20-year-old Anthony Burke is facing felony charges including reckless endangerment and criminal mischief, along with DWI and other charges. 

According to the Oswego County Sheriff’s office, the chase started at around 8 a.m. on Route 69 in the Town of Parish and ended when the man’s car rolled over on Route 11 in the town of Mexico.

Deputies say he refused to stop, even after hitting a Sheriff’s and State Police patrol cars, and a pickup truck, until he eventually went off the road and his car rolled over.

No one was hurt during the chase.

Burke’s bail is set at $50,000 or $100,000 bond.

MEXICO, NY (WSYR-TV) – Sheriff’s deputies were taken on a high-speed chase that started in the Town of Parish Saturday morning.  The Oswego County 911 center says the chase ended when the vehicle that was fleeing authorities rolled over in Mexico.

Sheriff’s deputies and state police are still at the scene of the accident along Route 11 in Mexico.

Oswego County 911 dispatchers tell us the chase started shortly before eight o’clock this morning and ended nearly 15 minutes later.
