UPDATE: Teenager stabbed to death after a party in Syracuse
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - A 17-year old is dead after being stabbed in the chest overnight on Sunday. Police are still looking for a possible suspect.
Police have identified the victim as 17-year-old Charles Pitts Jr.
Authorities were called to 550 South Clinton Street, the site of Clinton Plaza Apartments, around 1:00 a.m.
They say Pitts was stabbed as a party was dispersing from a recreation room. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:30 a.m.
Investigators believe a possible suspect may have been seen in a green Honda, heading toward Gifford and West Streets. Anyone with information can call Syracuse police at 442-5222.
