US Department of Education looking into SU over Fine allegations
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The US Department of Education has confirmed that it is looking into Syracuse University in relation to the accusations of sexual molestation against former assistant basketball coach Bernie Fine.
The Federal CLEARY Act requires universities to report crimes and campus investigations to the DOE and current and prospective students.
It is still unclear whether SU did that in 2005.
