Update: Mexico Man arraigned for shooting his brother

Mexico, Oswego Co. (WSYR-TV) – A man who shot his brother in Mexico early Tuesday morning has been arraigned in Central Square Village Court.

Sheriff’s Deputies say Keith P. House, 21, grabbed a gun and shot his older brother, Gary L. Stacy, Jr., 31, in the abdomen during a domestic dispute.

Investigators were called to the scene at the Maple View Mobile Home Park located on Route 11 around 3:51 on Tuesday morning.

It was not immediately clear what the fight was about, but Deputies say the brothers resided together at Lot 1 at 3259 US Route 11. Deputies were called to respond to Lot 3.

A helicopter was called to the scene, but could not fly due to the weather. The victim was transported to University hospital by ambulance. There was no immediate word on his condition.

House has been arraigned on charges of Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon. Bail was set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. House is due in Mexico Town Court Thursday, December 3.
