SUPPORT our sick and injured children every day!
Construction for our new Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital is complete. We are on track for a state of the art facility that will treat all these children right here...close to home. The hospital will accept patients September 23rd.You can see it for yourself; there will be public tours this weekend, taking place on Saturday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm and Sunday from Noon to 5:00 pm.
However, with more than 50,000 children treated here annually we need your continued help every day. With community support we have been able to fund:
* Cutting Edge Research
* Training to support innovative treatment for children
* A Child-Life Specialist now for our pediatric emergency room (the only one in a 17 county area)
* "Tools" to make the hospital stay of these precious children a bit more tolerable; like games and paints and books and videos and even sleeper chairs so families can stay close by
