Oswego (WSYR-TV) – Police have released the identities of five people involved in a deadly accident near Oswego Speedway Tuesday night. They also revealed that speed and alcohol may have been factors in the crash that took three lives.
Robert Senke, 25, Justin Purdy, 24, and Antonio Mendez, 28, were killed in the crash. Donald Odin, 26 – the vehicle’s registered owner – and Jeremy Tassie, 22, were transported to Upstate University Hospital, where they are expected to recover. All of those involved in the crash are Oswego residents. Police say all five men had consumed alcohol prior to accident.
Police say Senke was driving the vehicle eastbound on East Albany Street when it collided with a utility pole near the intersection with Shampine Drive.
According to police, the men had left Tassie's residence and were on their way to apartments located on City Line Road.

"The med examiners are conducting their investigation right now and the state police are finishing with the info they gathered last night and we'll put everything together to make a determination," said Oswego Police Capt. David Lizotte.
