Fulton (WSYR-TV) -- Police have charged a 24-year-old Fulton woman with robbery after they say she robbed a video rental store late last month.

Police say Kimberly L. Reed entered the Family Video Store, located at 104 W. Broadway in Fulton and demanded money. Reed was not armed, police said.

After an extensive investigation, Fulton police were able to link Reed to the crime.

Reed was also charged with petit larceny in an unrelated incident. Police say she stole a backpack from a car parked in the Family Video Store parking lot around the same time as the above mentioned robbery.

Reed is being held at the Fulton police lock-up pending arraignment.
