Auburn (WSYR-TV) - An Auburn church is set to hold a prayer vigil for a baby born with a rare skin disease.

Easton Friedel suffers from a condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa, or EB. The condition has caused his skin to become fragile and blister with the slightest touch.

The child was transferred to a hospital in Ohio for specialized treatment.

The community has raised more than $50,000 for the family.

The vigil will be held at Market Street Park in downtown Auburn at 7 p.m. The vigil is open to the public.
