Dryden (WSYR-TV) -- Another Central New York community is set to think about dissolving its police department.

This week, the Village of Dryden got a $25,000 grant from Governor Andrew Cuomo.

The money will be used to hire a third party to study the police department to see if dissolving or reducing it is a viable option to save funds.

At this time, there’s no word on when the study will take place or how long it’ll take.
