Village of Pulaski voters to decide on the fate of the police department

Pulaski (WSYR-TV) -- Residents in the Village of Pulaski weighed in on whether to dissolve the village’s police department Tuesday night.

If the department is eliminated, the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office and State Police would handle village calls.

Some are on board with the plan in order to save money, while others are worried about security.

The proposal is now in the hands of voters. A public vote on the issue is set for March 19.
