Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Even by Syracuse Police standards, it was an unusually busy overnight.  A total of nine people are recovering from stab wounds today, after five separate incidents.  Here's the breakdown:

1:55 am:  Four teens suffer stab wounds in an altercation on East Belden Avenue.  15-year old Bryan Matos suffered the worst of the wounds, a stabbing to his kidney.  16-year old Austin McIntosh is stabbed in the back and suffers a punctured lung, 18-year old Chaz Dickerson is stabbed in the upper back and ankle, and 17-year old David Herdon is stabbed in the forearm.   Police say none are cooperating in the investigation.

2:00 am:  29-year old Terrill Jones is stabbed in the lower back, in the 1200 block of West Onondaga Street. He tells police he believes his ex-girlfriend is to blame.  Police say he's refusing to offer other information.

2:20 am:  Michael Gavenva walks into Crouse Hospital suffering from a stab found to his rib cage.  He tells police it happened at a party at 711 Maryland Avenue.

3:20 am:  Two people are stabbed during a fight at 939 Highland Street.  19-year old Ricky Woods suffers stab wounds to his left calf and right arm, while 24-year old Kristen Wahden suffers stab wounds to the shoulder.

8:30 am:  Police say a woman stabs a man, after he hit her with a frying pan.

Syracuse Police say all of the victims are expected to be okay.  Right now they're sorting out the charges.
