Just thought that everyone would be interested to know that Acorn will be contesting the results in Clinton County. Wouldn't surprise me if they decide to for the rest of the district as well. Here's the link (I'm sure that Scozzafava & Owens are drooling at the thought of this): http://hotair.com/greenroom/archives/2009/11/02/breaking-acorn-expected-to-protest-election-results-tomorrow-in-clinton-county/

nynogood , didn't you mean to say ja?

nynogood - 11/3/2009 2:38 PM
I voted Hoffman yea

NoSportsMania - 11/3/2009 2:08 PM
Herr Hoffman is a Nazi hiding behind the American flag that he chose not to defend during the Vietnam war.

I'm voting for Hoffman....Bill Owens is just another dem who will hike taxes and go with Pelosi (eeeewwww) We need a fiscal conservative in this area......I don't care about the other stuff, abortion,(as long as not paid by taxpayers), or gay marriage,,(do what you want) We need jobs, and I feel the only way to do that is to cut taxes on business wanting to operate in NY.

All I can add here is, vote wisely folks. On a personal level though, I have a problem when one of the choices says that "he's just like us". Yet, when I go home, it's not to a private island mansion with a barn full of Corvettes. And unlike Mr. Hoffman, I certainly don't have a problem with gays-if they want to marry the one they love, it's nobody's business but theirs. Or if a woman has a need to terminate a pregnancy, again that's her business. Whenever a candidate flies under the banner of "good morals", I have to take that statement with a pound or two of salt. Is it "good morals" to favor tax breaks that will cripple working families by sending their jobs overseas? How bout privatizing Social Security-after my 401K took a massive dump, that doesn't sound particularly good unless you have a vested interest taking people's hard-earned money that they dillegently squirrel away for retirement. In closing, when a candidate intones that he has been fighting "for the soul of the Republican party", I'm gonna be checking for horns and a pitchfork!

I agree 100% Postman.

There is nothing wrong with homosexual marriage. It's a fairness and equality issue, not a moral one. Don't be fooled by those who (incorrectly) try who quote scripture. While abortion is usually not the best choice, there are timers when it clearly IS the best choice. Nothing should ever be done to remove it as a choice, if for no other reason than at times it IS the best moral and ethical choice.

Face it folks,,,,, none of them are a good choice.

Here's an excerpt from that link I just posted. This comes right after the text of the robocall that Dede made for Billy: "This is coming from the mouth of a candidate whom the Republican Party spent more than a million dollars supporting. Some on the right are most displeased with Scozzafava's actions. On his radio show today, Rush Limbaugh said, "Dee Dee Scazafava is illustrating precisely what moderate republicans will do . (6) and who moderate republicans are. (9)" Using the term RINO, or Republican in Name Only, Limbuagh said, " Scasafava screwed every RINO in the .., we can say she' guilty of wide spread bestiality, she had screwed every RINO in the country. Everyone can just see how phony and dangerous they are." The Republican National Committee has now come out in support of Conservative Party candidate Douglas Hoffman. In an interview with ABC News, Hoffman said, "all along I've been fighting for the soul of the republican party, for the values and ideals that it stands for." When asked if there is room in the Republican party for opposing views, he said, "For moderate views, yes, but not ultra liberal views." The tent, should only be so big, he said, "isn't that true in life in general? There is always boundaries."
