(WSYR-TV, Syracuse) We will stay mostly cloudy overnight with just a couple light and brief showers, mainly off to the north.  Tomorrow the clouds should break and we will be under mostly sunny skies.  High pressure off the east coast creating a strong southwest wind will bring temperatures into the mid-to-upper 80s.

The warm air will only be with us for one day, though.  A cold front will move through central New York late Tuesday night or early Wednesday.  As it comes through it will be accompanied by some showers and even thunderstorms.  Wednseday will feature much cooler temperatures with a slight chance for showers carrying over into Thursday.
