Warrant issued for woman accused of starving pitbull
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A Syracuse woman accused of starving her dog failed to appear in court on Wednesday and a warrant has now been issued for her arrest.
Although a bench warrant has been issued for Wendy Collins, it's not yet active.
The SPCA found “Princess” in a basement at 1326 Oak St., Syracuse. They said the dog was about 25 pounds underweight and that she may have been starved for months.
The dog has made a full recovery since she was found.
