Watertown teacher charged with serving booze to minors
Watertown (WSYR-TV) – A 44-year-old female Watertown teacher is facing charges after she allegedly held a party where underage youths were served alcoholic drinks.
According to State Police, the youths’ parents didn’t know that they were drinking.
Police say Kate Harrienger held the party at her home on County Route 67 in Watertown.
Harrienger is a teacher at Watertown High School.
She was charged with one count of unlawfully dealing with a child in the first degree and one count of criminal nuisance in the second degree, both misdemeanors.
According to MyABC50, Harrienger has been placed on administrative leave.
