Ithaca (WSYR-TV) -- Ithaca Police are stepping up patrols in the West Hill area of the city after two separate, unrelated stabbings this weekend.
Police say they’ve seen an increase in crime in the last several months on the West Side of the city.
Police remain on the lookout for the suspects in this weekend’s attacks.
A 17-year-old boy was stabbed in the back Sunday afternoon in the 600 block of Chestnut Street and on Saturday, a 35-year-old man was stabbed in the neck in the 400 block of West State Street. Neither victim is cooperating with police.
