High pressure is right over us this morning, helping to keep our skies clear and sunny. That high pressure will slide to our east during the day, causing winds to turn into the southwest.  As that high moves to our east, clouds will begin to advance from the west, and by mid afternoon, we expect cloudy skies.  Whether it’s late in the daylight hours, or just after sunset, rain will overspread our area.

Rain will continue Saturday night.  As a strong area of low pressure moves into Michigan Sunday, the heaviest rain will likely slide just north of CNY.  Strong south winds of 30+ mph will push temperatures into the 60s to near 70.  While there will be some showers around, there should be some rain-free time through the day Sunday as well.

A cold front should pass through the area on Monday, but as of right now it looks like the heaviest of any associated showers should graze to our southeast. Once the front passes, drier air works in again and temperatures should remain seasonable through the work week, close to 60°
