New Berlin (WSYR-TV) - It has been seven weeks since a Chenango County woman disappeared, and her family is searching for answers.

36-year-old Jennifer Ramsaran left her home in New Berlin on December 11, telling her husband she was going to Destiny USA.

Her husband Remy says he's praying his wife will be found.

“The not knowing is the worst,” he told NewsChannel 9. “It's just brutal and it's unfair to the kids. Forget about me, it's unfair to the kids, to my in-laws.”

Since Jennifer left, her phone and car have been located but family and friends have not heard from her.

Ramsaran says he's cooperated with police, saying investigators spent days combing through his home looking for clues.

The Chenango County Sheriff's Office tells us this is still an active missing person investigation. They are following leads and waiting for forensic evidence to come back.

Remy Ramsaran said, “It's just a rollercoaster. Some days I have hope, some days I don't."

Anyone with information about where Jennifer Ramsaran might be is asked to call the Chenango County Sheriffs Office at 607-334-2000.
