Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A Westhill High School senior who was killed when her vehicle crashed into a Centro bus early Saturday morning was laid to rest on Wednesday.

Family and friends of Anna Pullano gathered at St. Margaret’s Church in Mattydale to say goodbye to the 18-year-old girl.

The teen – an aspiring photographer who planned on studying at Savannah College of Art and Design – was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The accident occurred at 12:43 a.m. on Comstock Avenue. Police say Pullano’s GMC Denali was traveling west on Acorn Path when it passed in front of the northbound Centro bus.

She died as a result of her injuries after being taken to Upstate University Hospital.

Centro said it performed routine post-accident testing and determined that alcohol was not in the driver’s system.

Police have said they are still investigating the accident.

Classes at Westhill High School were canceled on Wednesday.
