Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Allergy symptoms continue to send people to the doctor for relief, but the only illness that’s going around, is a stomach bug.
Brighton Hill Pediatrics: To the south of Syracuse, doctors at Brighton Hill Pediatrics say they are seeing all the classic symptoms of the stomach bug. Other kids are suffering with allergy symptoms. They’re also seeing a virus with just one symptom, a fever.
Camillus: Dr. Rovall says she continues to see many children with allergies at her clinic in Syracuse’s western suburbs. Sore throats are going around, including strep and viral varieties.
Fulton: Dr. Martin Weitzel says he is seeing upper respiratory illness from allergies, and also strep throat and tick bites.
Liverpool: Dr. Dracker checks in with lots of patients complaining about tick bites. He says he’s also seeing a virus with a fever and sore throat – but not strep. Allergies also continue to cause symptoms.
Pulaski: Dr. Carguello is seeing mostly allergy symptoms, as well as sore throats – both strep and viral – and the stomach bug is going around.
Auburn: At Auburn Internal Medicine, healthcare professionals say they’re seeing allergies, sore throats, poison ivy, and upper respiratory infections.
