Healthcare professionals around Central New York say such symptoms are currently What’s Going Around.
Liverpool: Dr. Dracker says he has been seeing patients with viral sore throats, not strep, and also children with colds. He also says he’s seeing children with a severe cough from croup.
Camillus: Dr. Rovall is seeing cases of croup and numerous sore throats too. She says it’s a symptom of a virus that goes along with a cough and some kids are having stomach problems as well. In addition, children with allergies are suffering as well.
Syracuse: Brighton Hill Pediatrics says they’re seeing lots of viral sore throats and colds with wheezing.
Pulaski: Dr. Carguello is seeing strep throat, allergies, and the stomach bug.
Auburn: Healthcare professionals in Cayuga County are seeing sore throats – both strep and viral. There’s an upper respiratory infection going around too, along with sinusitis.
