Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Friday was the last day for H&M at the Great Northern Mall.
NewsChannel 9 couldn’t reach anyone in management as to the reasons why, but a sign at the store and a message on the phone answering service says they will close for good at the end of the day.
H&M still has a major store at Carousel Center and a new, smaller store that opened on the first level just last fall.
The discounter of upscale clothing is moving toward those smaller stores.
