Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Since Fourth of July falls on Saturday this year, what's open and what's closed Friday can get a little confusing.

Here are some of the big ones to know: Mail will be delivered Friday but not Saturday. Post offices will be open, though some are closing at noon.

Centro buses will run on a normal schedule Friday and a holiday schedule on Saturday.

The central libraries will be closed Friday through Sunday, while the suburban member libraries are all on individual schedules; check with them for hours.

The DMV will be open Friday, but will close on Saturday.

Banks will be open Friday and closed Saturday.

The New York State Unified Court System will be closed.

The Attorney General's office in Syracuse will be open.

Parking is free on Friday.
