Woman arrested after Syracuse stabbing
SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Police say 22-year old Abrienne Lemon of Syracuse has been arrested for stabbing another woman, after a dispute over a missing cell phone.
Around 9:45 Friday night, police were called to 128 Albert Terrace. When they arrived, they found 36-year old Melinda Morris with a minor stab wound on her arm.
Officers searched the area and were able to locate Lemon a short distance from where the stabbing happened.
Morris was taken to Upstate Hospital where she was treated and released.
Lemon is charged with assault and criminal possesion of a weapon.
She's being held at the Justice Center and will be arraigned sometime Saturday.
