Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A Liverpool woman who sustained serious injuries in a crash that occurred on Route 365 in Verona remains in critical condition.

28-year-old Kristin Conway is being treated at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.

Hospital personnel told NewsChannel 9 on Monday that her condition was listed as "serious," but corrected that information Tuesday morning.

Police say Conway was a passenger in a car driven by 28-year-old Amanda Trepasso.

According to police, the accident occurred when Trepasso tried to make an illegal u-turn and was struck by an SUV.

The impact sent Trepasso’s vehicle into a fence.

The SUV driver and his passengers were evaluated at Oneida Healthcare.

State Police are investigating the accident.
