Manlius (WSYR-TV) – Four baby swans have made their way to the pond in Manlius for the first time.

After a prolonged wait, the baby swans – which are called cygnets – began swimming around lunchtime on Wednesday, Manlius Mayor Mark-Paul Serafin confirmed.

The cygnets hatched on Monday.

A total of four were observed on Tuesday.

The cygnets were born to “Manny” and “Faye,” who lost several eggs when they were destroyed in April.

A Jamesville man – Ross Leone – is facing several misdemeanor charges as a result of the incident.
