Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- With a record 2-million pre-sale orders, the iPhone 5 has already become one of Apple’s best sellers. So much so, that people are already lining up to their hands on it when it goes on sale Friday morning, beginning at 8 a.m.
There have been many rumors about what the iPhone 5 will be like, but Apple isn't revealing much, they only say it will be the lightest, fastest and thinnest iPhone ever. It also boasts a faster processor, a better battery and graphics.
Tech experts say since this is one of the last products Steve Jobs had a hand in making. Many fans will flock to the stores out of fear that Apple won’t be able to top the latest iPhone.
“Before the iPhone -- if you look at all the smartphones at that time -- they had chiclet keyboards that were clunky and Apple reinvented the industry five years ago, so it will take something along those lines…it will take something big and dramatic to change what comes next,” said OCC Computer Studies Department Professor Karl Klein.
Again the iPhone 5 goes on sale at 8 a.m. Friday morning. You can pick it up at the Apple Store and authorized Apple retailers like AT&T, Sprint and Verizon Wireless.
