2 Bills On Bus Safety In NYS Senate
Albany, N.Y. - Bus safety is the focus of two bills moving through the political process in Albany.
One would bar convicted sex offenders from becoming bus drivers or renewing their commercial licenses.
The other would mandate a 60-day license suspension for a driver convicted of passing a stopped school bus twice within 10 years.
Both measures also need assembly approval.
