8-Month Investigation Leads To Drug Bust

Holley/Albion, N.Y. - When police searched 124 Platt Street in Albion, Tuesday, they seized narcotics and arrested the resident.

Diana L. Paone, 51, was hit with 17 charges of criminal possession of controlled substances and 9 counts of criminal diversion of prescription medications.

Among the prescription narcotics seized with the arrest warrant were hydrocodone, oxycodone and hydromorphone.

The investigation was 8 months long.

Paone was arraigned at the Town of Murray and sent to Orleans County Jail on $25,000.00 cash bail / $50,000.00 bond. She is to return to court on Feb 11.

The investigation is still ongoing and further arrests and charges are pending.
