$85 Billion In Spending Cuts Nears Friday Deadline
Washington, D.C. - With just one day to go before automatic spending cuts go into effect -- Democrats and Republicans remain divided over any potential solution.
The real life effect of the legislators’ behavior is that $85 billion in cuts is set to kick in Friday, March 1.
The president will meet with congressional leaders before the cuts kick in.
That might make a difference but most political analysts admit it's not looking hopeful.
