Washington - Vice President Joe Biden is heading up a task force looking at ways to reduce gun violence.
He will meet with victims' groups and gun safety organizations Wednesday, January 9.
A representative from the National Rifle Association will sit down with the vice president on Thursday.
The NRA says it is sending a representative to "hear what they have to say."
The National Shooting Sports Foundation, another major gun rights group, will also participate in the meetings.
