Cheektowaga, N.Y. (AP) - Finding a parking spot at the Buffalo airport is about to get easier.

An $8 million expansion project will add 1,000 parking spaces to the airport's long-term lot.

Officials from the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority and Empire State Development Corp. say they'll have a pre-demolition announcement on Thursday.

The Buffalo Niagara International Airport is in the suburb of Cheektowaga.
