Secretary Of Defense “Fully Confident” In Gen. John Allen

Washington - The U.S. Secretary of Defense says he is fully confident In General John Allen to lead in Afghanistan.

That statement comes after allegations of inappropriate correspondence between General Allen and a woman in Florida.

Lawmakers are poring over 30,000 pages of emails between Allen and socialite Jill Kelley. Kelley is the woman who asked the FBI to investigate a series of harassing emails.

That investigation led to the discovery of an affair between General David Petraeus and his biographer.

President Obama is expected to address the matter at a news conference Wednesday, November 14.
