Erie Co. Death Associated With West Nile
Buffalo, N.Y. - A man near Buffalo who contracted the West Nile Virus has died.
The Erie County Health Commissioner says the man had other serious health problems, but his death was associated with the virus.
His identity is not being released for reasons of privacy.
This was the 18th case of the mosquito-borne virus in Erie County this year.
