Albany, N.Y. - Governor Andrew Cuomo says the state Thruway Authority is considering raising tolls on the cross-state highway.

No details have been released, but the trucking industry is watching closely for toll hikes that could be tied to the Cuomo administration's plan to replace the Tappan Zee Bridge.

Cuomo says he hopes that any toll increase approved by the authority wouldn't hit this summer.

He made the comments while announcing a new "I Love NY" summer campaign to attract vacationers within driving distance of state destinations.

The New York State Motor Truck Association says toll increases are generally a concern, but the group understands the need to replace the Tappan Zee Bridge near Manhattan.

Tolls from Buffalo to New York City were last raised in 2010.
