Syracuse, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say Corey Leitz has admitted he grew 3,200 pot plants and sold the crop.

U.S. Attorney Richard Hartunian says Leitz, 41, of Frankfort, pleaded guilty Monday in U.S. District Court to a charge of manufacturing marijuana.

Hartunian says from August 2011 until December 2011, Leitz had a growing operation in his barn in Herkimer County.

It was the second felony drug conviction for Leitz, who was also convicted in 1998.

Leitz faces up to 20 years-to-life in prison when he is sentenced January 29.
