Immigration Plan Would Allow Aliens To Become Permanent Residents
Washington, D.C. - The White House has drafted a plan that would create a visa for illegal immigrants.
It would allow them to become legal, permanent residents within eight years, according to USA Today.
White House officials say they would go forward with a plan if lawmakers can't reach a deal.
Republican Senator Marco Rubio called the plan "dead on arrival" in Congress.
