NY Dem senators relent, will attend joint session

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Facing a break in their ranks amid criticism they were snubbing the governor during a fiscal crisis, the Senate's Democrats now plan to attend Gov. David Paterson's speech to a joint session of the Legislature on Monday.

Must be a "hurricane" hitting where they were all headed for their so called " Snub Conference" down Puerto Rico way.......& Senator Valesky passed on all those blistering E-mails on TAXPAYER Voting Backlash.

Uh-huh. A "joint" session. I knew there was a reason Paterson always has that glazed look on his face. I've come to expect snubbing from elected officials during any crisis, fiscal or otherwise, until they can contrive how to make it add directly to their power or wallet.
