Oldest Woman, Suffragette Dies At 116
Monroe, Ga. - A woman from Georgia said to be the oldest person in the world has died.
Besse Cooper is only one of eight people recognized by the Guinness World Records to have lived that long.
She died peacefully Tuesday in an assisted living home.
Cooper, who lived in Monroe, Georgia, was one of the first women to vote in the state as part of the suffrage movement.
Cooper said she lived so long because -- "I mind my own business and don't eat junk food."
