SWAT Team Called For IHOP Robbery
Buffalo, N.Y. - Police are looking for armed robbery suspects after a SWAT team surrounded an IHOP in a Buffalo suburb Sunday night.
Police in Cheektowaga responded to the reported robbery around 9 p.m.
Two men allegedly robbed the restaurant, and then ordered six people who were inside to walk into the back office and open the safe.
The alleged robbers were then locked out of the office by employees who called police.
By the time police arrived, the two suspects had left the restaurant.
No one was hurt.
