Oswego, N.Y. (AP) - As the salmon season nears its peak on Lake Ontario's tributaries, Police are enforcing safety regulations.

The Palladium-Times of Oswego reports police charged two people with trespassing.

The two were arrested for being inside the danger zone near the Oswego River dam without wearing life vests.

Two fishermen drowned there in 2010.
