Saranac Lake: 31 Degrees Below Zero
Saranac Lake, N.Y. - N.Y. (AP) - Wind chill advisories for the eastern half of New York State have been issued by the National Weather Service
The pre-dawn temperature plunged to minus 31 in Saranac Lake.
The National Weather Service says brisk winds will make the outdoor air feel like 25 to 35 below zero in some northern New York areas.
Forecasters say today's highs won't break the teens in many areas.
