Washington - President Obama goes back to work today, buckling down to the duties of his second term after a night of inaugural festivities.
The president and the first lady danced the night away at several balls and galas Monday night.
In spite of the fun of the moment, his inaugural speech was mindful of the politics awaiting the start of his second term.
“Decisions are upon us, and we cannot afford delay,” Obama said. “We cannot mistake absolutism for principle, or substitute spectacle for politics, or treat name-calling as reasoned debate.”
The Obamas will attend a prayer service at the National Cathedral Tuesday morning before heading back to the White House.
