Who Wants A One-Dollar Coin?
(13WHAM-TV) The federal government will make another push today to put the dollar coin back into circulation.
A dollar bill is cheaper to produce, by about 5-cents per bill.
However, the government says the average dollar bill fades after about five years.
The vending machine industry and even the Federal Reserve are staunchly opposed to the switch.
