DUANESBURG, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a stretch of the eastbound lanes of the interstate highway connecting Albany and Binghamton have been shut down after a truck crashed on a bridge over a creek.

The state Department of Transportation says the accident occurred shortly before 1 p.m. Monday in Interstate 88's eastbound lanes between exits 24 and 25 in the Schenectady County town of Duanesburg, 20 miles northwest of Albany.

State police say no one was injured. Other details aren't immediately available.

DOT officials say the accident occurred on an I-88 bridge over the Normanskill Creek. The agency says the eastbound lanes are closed as DOT crews inspect the bridge for damage.

There's no immediate word on when the lanes will reopen.
